Begin your Tanzanian adventure with an evening flight from London to Arusha, Tanzania via Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

(Flight Included | Airport Transfer | N)

Day 2: Arusha

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, transfer to the town of Arusha. Often referred to as the safari capital of Tanzania’s Northern Safari Circuit, Arusha is located at the foot of the magnificent Mount Meru at an elevation of 1,500m above sea level. Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

Head to Lake Manyara National Park which offers a diversity of habitats from its Rift Valley soda lake and open grasslands to steep mountainsides and dense woodlands. The park is most famous for its tree-climbing lions, a phenomenon that baffled scientists, especially since it doesn’t occur as often in other national parks. Go on a safari drive and watch the large flocks of pink flamingoes as they bathe and preen, observe the vervet and blue monkeys as they swing up the mahogany and sausage trees, or see the elephants as they feed on fallen fruit. The lake itself is a magnet for a variety of birds. Spend the night at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.

Days 4 & 5: Ngorongoro Crater

Today, drive to Northern Tanzania to Ngorongoro Crater. This breathtaking destination offers more than just an incredible safari experience; it also boasts a fascinating natural history that makes it truly unique. About two and a half million years ago, it used to be a huge mountain similar in size to Mount Kilimanjaro –the highest peak in Africa-. When the volcano erupted, it collapsed on itself and the explosion resulted in the formation of what is now the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world, the Ngorongoro Crater.

This UNESCO World Heritage Site is teeming with wildlife with around 30,000 animals including cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, elephants, impalas and endangered black rhinos and black-maned lions. Check-in at the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge for a 2-night stay.

Days 6–8: Serengeti National Park

Spend the next 3 days exploring Tanzania’s most celebrated national park, Serengeti National Park. Check-in at Serengeti Serena Lodge for a 2-night stay, followed by one night at Kirawira Serena Camp.

Discover the park’s abundant wildlife through morning game drives, afternoon game drives, and the most exciting one, night game drives. Experience the wonder of nature as you watch over 200 hippos play and slosh around in the Retina Hippo Pool. Observe majestic lions, cheetahs, and leopards as they roam freely through Lobo Valley. Witness the breathtaking sight of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles grazing on the lush vegetation of Seronera River Valley. Marvel at the sight of elephants and monkeys quenching their thirst from the Grumeti River. And if you’re lucky, catch a glimpse of crocodiles patiently waiting for their next meaty feast during the awe-inspiring Great Migration.

Visit the Maasai tribe in their native villages for a unique cultural tour. You can learn how to hunt, cook traditional food and milk domestic animals. Additionally, you can attend traditional dance performances and buy local handicrafts to cherish the memory.
