Introducing Denmark

Visit Denmark for long stretches of canals lined with cobblestone streets, a wonderful juxtaposition of historic and modern bridges, welcoming locals and environmentally responsible living.
The concept of cosy living known as “hygge”, is considered to be Denmark’s most well-known export, and the city of Copenhagen is the best place to discover it. Copenhagen is a fantastic destination for city holidays since it is bursting with quaint ancient streets, healthy restaurants, culinary stalls, and beautiful architecture.

Denmark has everything: beaches, forests and lakes, as well as 200 beaches across the nation, which have received the Blue Flag rating.

Top Locations in Denmark

Visit Copenhagen
Copenhagen, the beloved capital of Denmark, was once a Viking fishing community, and it continues to place a lot of emphasis on its waterfront location. One of the city's most popular photo locations is the Nyhavn district's vibrant harbour, which is known for its classic boats and rainbow-painted cafés. Do explore its 17th-century houses at the Open-Air Museum, the art collections at Glyptotek, or discover its history at the Museum of Copenhagen. The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art’s is also worth visiting to appreciate the great arts works of Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein.
The Little Mermaid Statue
The Little Mermaid, a gift from Danish brewer Carl Jacobsen to the City of Copenhagen, was unveiled on August 23, 1913. Located at Langelinie Pier, the bronze and granite sculpture is situated above the water. It was influenced by the well-known fable by Hans Christian Andersen about a mermaid who sacrifices everything to be with a charming prince on land.
Møns Klint
One of Denmark's most beautiful landscapes is the Cliffs of Møn. Flocks of tourists are drawn to the 3.7 miles (6 kilometres) of chalk cliffs that rise 393.7 feet (120 metres) above sea level, gazing in wonder at the magnificent landscape. There are trees, little lakes, steep terrain, and various uncommon flora, such the Orchis purpurea, in the lush region surrounding the cliffs.
