The Tokyo Imperial Palace is one of the city’s most important landmarks and is the primary residence of the Emperor of Japan.

Head to the cultural heart of the city; explore the neighbourhood of Roppongi where you will find all the best museums, galleries plus some lively streets for nightlife.
The historic temple of Sensō-ji was formerly associated with the Tendai sect of Buddhism and is the city’s oldest temple building.
