Sithonia
This is the peninsula located in the south-central area of Halkidiki and it is best known for its beautiful beaches, camping facilities and also for its wonderful sailing activities.
Kassandra
Kassandra is the far west peninsula and perhaps the most popular with travellers. It features stunning beaches and beach resorts, great nightlife spots, a great choice of restaurants as well as the natural forest hot springs.
Agion Oros
Agion Oros is the mountain peninsula on the east and it’s often referred to as the “Holy Mountain”; this is a great place to get off the beaten track and go hiking.
Stageira
Visit Aristotle’s birthplace, the ancient city of Stageira. The city is located 8 kilometres from Stagira Village and close to the town of Olympiada.
Sarti
This tiny village offers a quiet existence and peaceful surroundings. A quaint fishing village, Sarti is known for its pretty beaches (with secluded sunbathing spots) and beautiful churches as well as a choice of water sports.
