Introducing Split

The beautiful town of Split is one of Croatia’s most coveted locations. Known for its beautiful beaches and its spectacular historical centre, Split is a great destination for sun seekers or beach lovers and culture vultures alike. Its most famous landmark and attraction is perhaps the incredible Diocletian’s Palace, which dates all the way back to the 4th Century AD and the site’s sprawling remains cover over 200 different buildings and once you’re inside, you’ll be spoilt for choice by the selection of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. And the foodie scene across the city won’t disappoint either; from the dark depths of Split’s underground konobas serving the most authentic cuisine to its traditional wine bars offering excellent tasting and tours, eating here is always classically Croatian.
