George Kounnas

I’m George, and I am truly passionate about helping others make memories to last a lifetime. I’ve been in the industry ever since I left school at the age of 17 and I’ve never looked back, ever since my cousin got me my first job at a small high street company in Haringey (my home town) I knew I was hooked, holidays and sales were the perfect match for a career in travel. 

With Cypriot parents most my summers growing up were spent on the beautiful island of Cyprus, and I’m repeating this trend now with my own family, and we love it. We’ve also enjoyed holidays in Disney-Florida, Dubai, Greece, Turkey, Mauritius to name a few and I’m blessed to have the contacts to visit some of the best resorts in the best places around the world. And be able to do this for my customers too.

If there’s one holiday type I’ve yet to try which I’m super keen on, it would be a cruise, but my wife is not so keen, but I’m working on it. We’d also love to visit the Maldives (probably without the kids)

One thing many don’t know is that I used to be a destination wedding planner, specialising in…. Wait for it……Vegas weddings. It’s more popular than you think and I used to love arranging them, you never know, some day I might get back into it.

As a family of five, we know the struggles of finding hotels and resorts that firstly fit us all together and tick our boxes (kids clubs, facilities etc). And as crazy as it sounds I find that most my family requests are from families of five, the universe does do some crazy things ay!
