Elaine Kane

I met Elaine purely by chance next to a malfunctioning coffee machine at TESCO Express in High Wycombe. In conversation I explained that I was planning a trip the following year and she explained that she was a travel agent She gave me a card asking me to call if I wanted to pursue it, and I am so very pleased that I did just that. My wife and I were going on an extended holiday to Perth, Western Australia where we were house swapping for two months. We wanted a good stop over on the way out in the far East, and to return via short stops in Melbourne and Sydney before flying to New Jersey in USA to spend a fortnight with family there. Other than that we were flexible and open to suggestions about the details in between. In the event, although we had thought about travelling from Perth to Melbourne on the train, we decided not to do this and spend that money instead by asking Elaine to recommend good hotels to stay in throughout our trip. Elaine did so much more than this and became a trusted adviser who helped plan and organise every aspect of our trip to ensure that everything worked and fitted just right. Her knowledge of the cities and hotels; where to go what to do, was extraordinary. She organised all our flights; a train journey from Melbourne to Sydney; all our hotels and taxi pickups and drop offs. She organised sight seeing trips in each place we visited, Singapore, Melbourne, Sydney, Honolulu and Dallas. The whole itinerary was put together with exceptional attention to detail. We met up quite regularly beforehand, (Elaine was always available to answer any questions we might have) and we left with a travel folder chronologically set out with each ticket, document and voucher in order. We did have her number to ring should we run into any difficulties, but we did not: everything worked perfectly and we enjoyed a completely stress-free trip of a lifetime. Of course, you pay a little more for this personal service, but the additional cost was entirely reasonable and worth every penny. I had never travelled like this before but were I to do anything similar again, I would go straight to Elaine. I cannot recommend her highly enough and suspect she would be equally good in helping to plan trips anywhere in the world whether small medium or large.
