Walking Tour the Prosecco Hills
The Prosecco Hills is a famous wine producing region. It features traditional medieval villages, engaging walking trails, and beautiful landscapes that are a treat for the eyes. In this memorable sample itinerary, you will get to learn about what makes Prosecco wine so special, and how the incredible scenery contributes to the region’s quaint, peaceful, and calm atmosphere.
Day 1: Fly to Venice – Pieve di Soligo
Fly to Venice. Then transfer to the small village of Pieve di Soligo. Located in the heart of Prosecco Hills, the village is surrounded by lush vineyards, rolling plains and hills, and old religious architecture, castles, villas, and abbeys. Due to the relatively secretive reputation that Prosecco Hills has, few tourists visit the region each year, making it perfect for quiet getaways.

Day 2: Cison di Valmarino and Follina – Cistercians Abbey
In the morning, transfer to Cison di Valmarino. The village is lovingly preserved, featuring historic buildings and monuments that date back to the medieval area. Along the way, pass waterfalls, woodlands, and ancient manors and fortresses. End your walk in Follina, which is where the Cistercian monastery of Santa Maria stands.
In the afternoon, return to your hotel and enjoy free leisure. Explore one of the many walking trails and enjoy a glass of Prosseco.

Day 3: Prosecco Wineries
Head to the Prosecco Hills and visit the many landmarks, including San Stefano, Valdobbiadene, and San Pietro di Barbozza. Your walking tour will take you through the vineyards, offering spectacular views of the hillside hamlets and fertile landscape. Then visit the Pietrovecchio winery, one of the best in the region. Participate in a general introduction, history presentation, and wine tasting session.

Day 4: Treviso – Natural Park of the River Sile
Transfer to the capital province of Treviso in the morning. After being bombed in World War 2, the city was rebuilt and has become an impressive maze of streets and arcade walkways. Enjoy a walking tour of the city and spend some free time exploring on your own.
In the afternoon, head to the River Sile for sightseeing. Return to your hotel in the evening.

Day 5: Unesco Palladian Villa Barbaro – Monte St. Giorgio – Asolo
Transfer to Villa Barbaro, Maser. The villa is a Unesco-protected site, one that expertly demonstrates the masterpieces of Andrea Palladio, an Italian architect from the 16th century. After a short visit, go for a walk. Climb Monte San Giorgio and head west to follow one of the many frontlines used in World War 1. Then reach the hill-top town of Asolo and enjoy free time. Return to Pieve di Soligo for dinner.

Enjoy free leisure in Conegliano. If desired, take an optional day trip to Venice, a short train trip away.

Day 7: Monte Cesen – Venetian Prealps
Take one last walking tour above the Prosecco Hills, reaching the tallest peak in the Venetian Prealps. Enjoy stunning, panoramic views above the Piave River, which reaches an altitude of 5,151ft (1,570m).
If the day is clear, you can gaze far enough see the eastern Alps, and even Venice. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 8: Venice – London
Your trip will officially end in the morning in Pieve di Soligo. From there, transfer to Venice airport and take an inbound flight back to London.
