Day 1: Fly to Santiago, Chile

Day 2: Santiago
Upon arrival, transfer to the Pullman Santiago El Bosque for a 2-night stay. Enjoy an optional visit to a nearby winery.

Day 3: Santiago
Enjoy a morning city tour of Santiago. Visit the historic center and pedestrian malls of the Centro. Head north of Santiago to visit San Cristóbal Hill, home to a statue of the Virgin Mary on top of the Cerro San Cristóbal. Then check out the Museum of Pre-Columbian Art, which contains rare artifacts, sculptures, and artwork that spans over 3,000 years. Afternoon leisure.

Day 4: Fly to Punta Arenas • Patagonia
Fly to Punta Arenas. Take a short tour of the city and visit the Strait of Magellan, a navigable sea route in southern Chile. Then explore the impressive and desolate wilderness of Puerto Natales. The village is famed for its cattle ranching, adventure-focused activities, and the famous Torres del Paine National Park.
Stay overnight at Hotel Costaustralis with a fjord-view room.

Day 5: Torres del Paine
Take a full-day excursion to the Torres del Paine National Park. There you can marvel at the expansive ice glaciers, misty forests, and various walks of wildlife. Whether you’re a thrill seeker or wildlife observer, there is something for everyone at Torres del Paine.
Stay 2 nights at the Hotel Lago Grey. Upgrade to a superior room with a clear view of the glaciers from £45 per person.

Day 6: Torres del Paine
Walk around the national park in the morning. Then visit Lake Sarmiento and Amarga Lagoon. The former is one of the largest lakes in the sanctuary, while the latter offers stunning photography opportunities of Torres del Paine National Park from afar.
Enjoy afternoon leisure. Or participate in optional excursions at the park.

Day 7: El Calafate, Argentina
Cross the border to El Calafate in Argentina. Then stay 2 nights at the Hotel Kosten Aike. The hotel is unique for its focus on sustainability and celebrating local artists. All the bedspreads, curtains, folders, fittings, and plastic compositions are specially made by prominent artists, whose style takes influence from the town of Tehuelche, particularly its perfect geometry.

Full-day tour of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Unlike many glaciers around the world, the Perito Moreno Glacier is actually advancing rather than retreating, making it a rare sight for visitors. You can also take an optional boat trip in front of the glacier wall.

Day 9: Fly to Buenos Aires
Fly to Buenos Aires. Transfer to the Alvear Art Hotel for 3 nights, a luxury hotel with lush greenery, modern architecture, conveniently located amenities, and more than 137 rooms and 2 suites, each decorated with unmatched style and elegance.

Day 10 & 11: Buenos Aires
Take a half-day tour of Buenos Aires and the La Boca district. The district is notable for being the birthplace of the tango, thanks to the influx of Italian inhabitants in the early 20th century. On Day 11 enjoy a day of leisure or take an optional excursion to an estancia (an estate) in the Pampas or Colonia in Uruguay. The estancias are the perfect chance to get an authentic Wild West experience, with vast rolling plains and horseback riding combined with fresh country air.
Day 12 & 13: Fly to Iguazú / Iguaçu
Fly to Iguazú Falls. Then stay for 2 nights at the Gran Meliá Iguazú inside the park. You can also upgrade to a falls-view room from £125. While there, you will get the chance to take a guided tour of both the Brazilian and Argentian sides of the falls, as the falls themselves lie within a split between the two countries. When the park is closed, you will get to see the sunset or dawn and marvel at how the color of the scenery changes as the light appears and reappears.

Day 14: Fly to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Day 15 & 16: Rio de Janeiro
Full-day tour of Rio de Janeiro. Visit the sprawling mountain ranges of Corcovado, home to the statue of Christ the Redeemer. Then take a cable car ride to Sugarloaf Mountain, which provides stunning panoramic views of the city and was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2012.
On Day 16 enjoy a day of leisure. Or take an optional excursion to the old center of Rio, which features the Plaza XV and is where many of Brazil’s largest companies have their offices. Alternatively take a 4×4 tour to Tijuca Forest, claimed to be the world’s largest urban forest.
