Sample Itinerary

Days 1-3: Arrival In Melbourne, Australia

Begin your epic adventure by flying to one of Australia’s most vibrant cities, Melbourne, then transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4: Exploring Melbourne

Experience an excursion of Melbourne’s evocative arcades and passageways while learning about the city’s history, culture, and architecture. The remainder of your day is free. Trendy and modern the city is great for all ages and interests. You could explore Federation Square with its cultural exhibitions, galleries and hip bars and shopping opportunities. Alternatively, if you are looking for some beach fun, head to Port Phillip Bay, with its colourful bathing boxes dotted across its sandy beach, or head to the open range zoo and hand feed some kangaroos.

Day 5: Journey To The Yarra Valley

Less than an hour from the city of Melbourne, you can experience breath-taking scenery and impressive local food and wine at the Yarra Valley region. Taste your way around small vineyards and private wineries in the Yarra Valley wine area before a spectacular four-course supper.

Day 6: Visit The Uluru

Travel to the iconic Uluru (Ayers Rock) by air to experience and learn about the area’s history and see the ancient rock petroglyphs. The sunset at Uluru is truly spectacular and one that will stay with you forever. Get your camera ready!

Day 7: Uluru

On a private excursion to Kata Tjuta, also known as the Olgas which lays to the west of Uluru, you can experience the tranquil sunrise over this sacred site. A trekking route highlights the changing ecosystem of the region. Enjoy a unique desert meal at dusk.

Day 8: Explore Port Douglas

As the sun dawns above Uluru, you can enjoy a ride on a camel, before flying to Cairns and taking a shuttle to your resort in Port Douglas, where you may relax on Four Mile Beach, with its impeccable golden sand and crystal-clear waters splashing across the seashore. The beach is a tropical paradise ideal for enjoying a romantic sunset or for peaceful strolls.

Day 9: Low Isles

Located just 15km from Port Douglas is the sandy coral island of Low Isles, an ideal spot for a reef adventure! You can enjoy a whole day of snorkelling and coral exploration, including spotting parrotfish, clownfish and turtles.

Days 10 & 11: Port Douglas

After a day of relaxation, a member of the Kuku Yalanji community will take you on a woodland bushwalk to introduce you to the art and culture of indigenous Australia.

Days 12-15: Discover Sydney

Fly to Sydney from Cairns and spend four nights in New South Wales’ capital. Discover the city’s biggest sights, such as the amazing Sydney Opera House and Bondi Beach, with the help of a knowledgeable guide for the day. On one of the other days, take a complimentary, five-hour luxury lunch cruise around the harbour. Head to the Rocks, the hub of modern Sydney, where you can discover the area’s abundant colonial heritage and bountiful entertainment district situated by Sydney Harbour. Its charming cobbled streets and little alleys are perfect for an afternoon stroll before catching a bite in one of its markets. Following a few days of exploring, head back to Bondi beach to capture the sun rise or set, relax on this coastal paradise or get active with some surfing lessons on the beach. Depending on when you visit you may spot some whales as they migrate between the months of May and November.

Day 16: Depart Sydney

Depart Sydney for your flight home to the UK.
